Danielle Burruss

Founder + Lead Vessel

A community leader, entrepreneur and young woman of faith, Danielle Burruss’s ambition, drive and passion is one that has allowed her to develop as a trailblazer within and for her community.

 

These are the same attributes that have allowed Danielle to become a successful entrepreneur and brand strategist. Currently, Danielle is principal owner of evrythngBranding - a graphic design and branding business, part-owner of The Mahogany Events Venue, and the Founder & Lead Vessel of a peer-to-peer Christian-based empowerment group and mentorship initiative, G&G Empowerment Group. 

 

Danielle was baptized on April 28, 2013, at Elim Christian Fellowship, Buffalo, NY at the age of 16. On October 14, 2018, Danielle rejoined her childhood church, First Shiloh Baptist Church, Buffalo, NY. In addition to attending service at First Shiloh, Danielle also tunes into sermons from Transformation Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma every week. 

A graduate of Buffalo State College with a degree in public relations and advertising, Danielle’s prior professional experience also includes positions as communications coordinator at Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, where she developed and implemented communications and outreach strategies for the growing primary care practice. 

Danielle’s passion for community service and philanthropy is also evident through her involvement with Say Yes Buffalo where she served as president for the Ambassador Program in 2018.

 

In recognition of her dedication to the Say Yes Buffalo program and her community, Danielle was awarded the first [BN]spired Athena Award from The Buffalo News and is also the recipient of the 2020 Purposeful Women of Faith, “Exceptional Young Christian Woman” award from First Shiloh Baptist Church. Additionally, in 2020, Danielle was one of 24 nonprofit professionals selected to participate in the second cohort of the John R. Oishei Foundation’s Fellowship for Leaders of Color.

Most recently, Danielle was selected as one of Buffalo Business First's and Changemakers 2021"30 under 30" honorees.
